This one-of-a-kind acrylic painting is created on natural birch wood, letting the grain show through and become part of the piece. Painted mostly in black and white with a soft wash of green, it centers on a deer skull as a quiet symbol of memory and transformation.
Fish drift through the antlers alongside tropical florals inspired by my memories of Puerto Rico, softening the space between land and sea, loss and continuity.
